About Us
interavt—International Audiovisual Translations, LLC.—was founded in 2013 as part of an international expansion policy of Traduplus Audiovisual, a Caracas-based audiovisual translation agency. Traduplus Audiovisual, our parent company, has been in the audiovisual translation business for more than 10 years, and they quickly found their way to become one of the most important audiovisual translation agencies in Latin America, thanks to their high production volume—over 100 hours of material per month!—and commitment with technical and linguistic quality.
Through our partner agency in Caracas, our team has provided subtitle, SDH, closed caption, dubbing, voice-over, lipsync, and transcription services for multiple clients, including renowned TV stations such as HBO, Sony, Cinemax, Warner, E! Entertainement, and History Channel.
We have been able to provide more than 100 hours of translated material, thanks to our team of more than 50 translators and qualified editors. This number is constantly increasing. Founder member Luis Roberts teaches Audiovisual Translation in the School of Modern Languages at the Universidad Central de Venezuela and, after graduation, many of the best students become part of our local translation team, while others join our international staff.
With our staff of translators, most of them experts in three languages—C2 level for their mother tongue and their first language, and B2 for their second language—we are capable of translating into Spanish, from English, French, Italian, German, and Portuguese, and soon from Russian and Chinese.
While our staff consists of highly-qualified audiovisual translators, our work goes through proofing processes that ensure we deliver a final product of linguistic and technical excellence.
